Melanie McClare, P.Eng, mba, ryt - Principal
Starting her career in Europe and West Africa, Melanie worked in the industrial sector as a junior chemical engineer. In 2008, she moved into the cleantech industry, holding various operational, sales and leadership roles. After her MBA and a role as CEO in a water technology start-up, she launched Gaze Consulting in 2022. Melanie lives with her husband and two kids in Calgary, Alberta. She is a certified yoga and meditation teacher, and loves to hike, ski, camp and travel the world.
Simona Smolejova, BBA - Marketing Analyst
Simona graduated from Simon Fraser University in 2021 with a degree in Business and a concentration in Marketing. She has since had several marketing roles in industries ranging from real estate to wastewater. Simona executes global market intelligence projects, marketing and branding initiatives for our valued clients, and podcast production for the Gaze Ahead Podcast. Simona loves to travel and is currently stationed in Manchester, UK.
